Q. How do I know the camp schedule?A. The schedule is on this web site under “Activities”. In addition, there will be a giant 4-day schedule on the lodge wall and you will also get one in your packet when you arrive at camp.
Q. How do I know what activities I need to sign up for? When can I sign-up?
A. In the “Activities” page it is noted which activities require signup. On the lodge walls there will be sign-up sheets for each activity. The sheets will include a choice of times and spots available. Activity sign up time is the first evening after the children are in bed. Camp Staff will be there is assist.
Q. When my child does a corral ride and I reserve a teen to lead the horse around, how much could the whole activity cost?
A. The corral ride is $5.00, which is a Westwind charge. The recommended amount to pay the teen is $3.00. The total is $8.00. Also, be sure to sign up ahead of time to reserve the sitter to lead the ride.
Q. If I hire a teen sitter to help me with my children in the craft house, how do I pay her/him?
A. You can purchase sitter script at the camp store. On each script there is a place to put the teens name so if lost, it can be returned. At the end of camp, the teens will cash in their script. The recommended sitter rate is $3/per child/per hour.
Q. Do I pay the teens when they baby-sit our cabin during the mom’s evening time?
A. No. This is part of their job.
Q. Is there any tipping of the staff, teens or volunteers at camp?
A. No. This is all part of their job, whether they are volunteers or part of the permanent staff.
